Congratulations to:

  • Stephanie Showalter Otts for being published in the Journal of Maritime Law & Commerce
  • Professor Gabrynowicz for being published in the Harvard Law & Policy Review
  • Professor Hoffheimer for having two articles published, one in the Legal Reference Services Quarterly and the other in the Florida Entertainment Law Review. One of Professor Hoffheimer’s criminal law questions was used on the California First Year Law Student Exam (aka the “Baby Bar”)
  • Professor Chris Green for being cited by Justice Stevens in his McDonald v. Chicago dissent
  • Professor Myers for being published in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law – the oldest IP-specific journal in the country!

National Sea Grant Law Center Conducts Outreach Related to Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

The University of Mississippi School of Law’s National Sea Grant Law Center and it’s state counterpart, the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Legal Program, began conducting legal research and outreach almost immediately following the tragic explosion of BP’s Deepwater Horizon oil rig on April 20th.
