Individual Study I credit (Law 615, pass/fail credit) may be earned by participation on a competition team (i.e., National Moot Court competition Team)(more than 1 credit hour must be approved by law faculty), or by serving as a research assistant for a law professor. A student may receive up to four hours of individual study credit as a research assistant, but may not earn more than ONE hour per semester.
Individual Study II credit (Law 715) is graded credit for a major research paper written under guidance of law faculty. Proposal for paper and credit hours must be approved by Curriculum Committee six weeks prior to semester grade will be awarded.
