The University of Mississippi School of Law 2009 graduation ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, in The Grove on the University Campus.  In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Ford Center for The Performing Arts at 1:30 p.m.

Graduating students from December 2008 and May 2009 and their guests are encouraged to attend the University-wide convocation which will also be help in The Grove at 9 a.m. that same morning.  The convocation speaker will be longtime CBS news correspondent Bob Schieffer.

There is unlimited seating and graduates may invite as many guests as they like.  Refreshments will be available in the Law School Mall beginning at 8:30 a.m., and also following the ceremony at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Graduating students should plan to rent a cap and gown from the Ole Miss Bookstore before mid-April. The cost is $70.60--be sure to specify “law”.
