Some of the government positions included for the Class of 2004 were:

- Assistant District Attorney
- Assistant Public Defender
- Special Assistant Attorney General
- Special Assistant Solicitor General
- Research Counsel
- Accountant for federal tax association

A large percent were employed as judicial law clerks in the following courts:

- State of Mississippi Circuit and Chancery Courts
- Washington State Superior Court
- United States Immigration Court
- United States Magistrate Court
- United States Fifth circuit Court of Appeals
- Various Federal District Courts
- Mississippi Supreme Court and Mississippi Court of Appeals

Students were enrolled in programs at NYU, the University of Miami and Fordham University, working on advanded degrees. Several were teaching and one is a website developer while working on a master's degree.
